Nicole Sfeir Trikha, MD
Hi there! I’m Dr. Sfeir and I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist.
My goal in practice is to create a warm, empathetic environment where patients can openly discuss their concerns. I bring compassionate care and evidence-based techniques into my approach. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment plan, and I hope to help tailor your personalized treatment with your specific goals in mind. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you on your path to mental wellness.
I completed psychiatry residency at a dual UCLA and West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs combined program where I served as program chief resident. I have extensive experience in various subspecialties of psychiatry, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma/stressor-related disorders, women's mental health, substance use disorders, thought disorders, and geriatric mental health. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science degree from UC San Diego and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
Yumin Kang Ward, MD
Hi, I’m Dr. “Amy” Kang and I am a board-certified psychiatrist.
I believe in taking a holistic approach to mental health care. I want to get to know your story so that we can work together to formulate a treatment plan that meets your unique needs. I will utilize my extensive training in medication management as well as various psychotherapeutic modalities to provide you with the best care.
Together we’ll explore the numerous, complex factors that make you, you, including considering race, culture, gender identity, life circumstances and more, to help you to achieve your mental health goals.
I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in biomedical engineering. After college, I pursued medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency training at a dual UCLA and West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs combined program, where I served as an outpatient and psychotherapy chief resident. I am bicultural and fluent in Mandarin.
